MAIN MISSIONS

CUSTOMER NEED AND DESIGN

  1. Understanding the functional scope of the project and assessing the technical prerequisites
  2. Participating in drafting functional specifications and writing the technical specifications; having them validated
  3. Preparing the project-related costing information (time estimate)
  4. Understanding and following the customer’s requirements and the criteria for success of the project
  5. Conducting impact studies during corrections or developments on an existing application

SUPERVISING PRODUCTION

  1. Planning the technical milestones of the project
  2. Allocating tasks to different contributors, setting goals and priorities; potentially taking over production of developments
  3. Supervising progress of the work and helping to solve difficulties (lead times, development, etc.)
  4. Identifying and managing any difficulties that might hinder the production of deliverables in accordance with commitments; suggesting solutions
  5. Reporting progress to the project director

QUALITY OF DELIVERABLES – CONFORMITY OF THE SOLUTION

  1. Being responsible for deliverables (developments, documentation, technical reference, etc.)
  2. Ensuring successful integration according to design requirements:
    1. Carrying out validation tests before delivery and piloting implementation of corrections
    2. Piloting the customer validation tests (and performing them if necessary) and then piloting implementation of potential corrections
    3. Managing customer feedback and implementing corrections in the acceptance phase
  3. Taking part in the integration phases and providing business technical support for validation
  4. Contributing to the Go-Live strategy (test sets, scenarios, organisation, planning, etc.)

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  1. Leading the project committee and participating in the steering committee, under the responsibility of the project director and at his/her request
  2. Providing the interface between customer and development team
  3. Organising and conducting the required validation meetings

PROFILE

INITIAL TRAINING

  1. 3 to 5-year higher education diploma in computer science

KEY BUSINESS SKILLS

  1. Be able to create, manage and maintain customer and supplier relationships
  2. Understand the environment and customer issues
  3. Be able to structure and draft professional texts (specs, procedures, proposals, reports, etc.)
  4. Be able to estimate expenses and make a report
  5. Demonstrate a sense of organisation , thoroughness and reliability in the management of projects followed up
  6. Be able to manage incidents (responsively and properly)
  7. Use one or more programming languages and development tools
  8. Be able to write test scenarios and to provide support when they are being carried out
