Chantelle Lingerie chooses Reflex WMS to manage the Darjeeling logistics hub

Context and objectives
Chantelle Lingerie is an independent, family-owned French group founded in 1876. It sells products globally under several lingerie brands: Chantelle, Passionata, Chantal Thomass, Femilet, Livera and Darjeeling. The group employs 5,300 people and has seven factories in Morocco, Tunisia, Vietnam and Thailand. It has three distribution logistics warehouses in the Somme area of France.
Chantelle Lingerie has a 5,000 m2 logistics hub for the Darjeeling brand in Villers-Bretonneux in the Somme, France. In 2011, the group decided to outsource the logistics management of the brand’s e-commerce flows because its WMS did not support them. In view of increasing online sales, in late 2017, the group decided to bring its e-logistics in house, to replace its WMS and to establish a WCS (mechanized station conveyor).
The group launched a tender in early 2018, shortlisting three WMS vendors. After a series of product demonstrations and site visits, and having examined all three bids in detail, Reflex WMS was chosen. This decision was based on several criteria: in addition to the application’s short learning curve, its ability to orchestrate mechanization and to manage both B2B flows (170 stores in France) and e-commerce flows, the attention to detail of Hardis Group’s hard-working teams really made the difference.
The project kicked off in late November 2018. Reflex WMS went live six months later, managing the Savoye mechanization system at the Darjeeling site. Chantelle’s logistics division has been so impressed with the application that it plans to roll out the system to a second logistics site.
