Developed jointly with voice-directed logistics solutions specialist Voiteq, Reflex Voice is a multimodal Android-based voice recognition and speech synthesis application. Currently available in seven languages, and with further localized versions in the pipeline, Reflex Voice is fully integrated into the Reflex WMS warehouse management system.
Grenoble, December 5, 2018 – Hardis Group, a consulting firm, digital services company and independent software vendor, unveils Reflex Voice, its multimodal voice recognition and speech synthesis application for pickers. The new pick-by-voice module—fully integrated into Reflex WMS and covering all picking procedures as standard—was developed jointly with Voiteq under a deal signed back in 2016.
Hardis Group decided to join forces with Voiteq to develop its own, device manufacturer-independent pick-by-voice solution following a series of mergers in the voice recognition sector, Vocollect’s decision to stop developing Tekspeech in 2014, and Zebra’s announcement that it will end support for Tekspeech Pro in 2020. Reflex Voice is designed for Android devices and is compatible with the latest generation of Bluetooth headsets (NFC pairing). Capable of supporting multiple users out of the box, it covers the full range of warehousing picking procedures as standard (single- and multi-recipient picking, complete packages and retail sales, collection, deconsolidation, pre- and post-palletisation picking, pre- and post-packing, and more).
The turnkey procedures and interfaces can be customized to meet specific business and field imperatives within Reflex WMS. The fully multimodal solution, developed by Hardis Group and Voiteq, combines on-device voice recognition and speech synthesis, touch keypad support, and a scan function. Reflex Voice is currently available in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Polish, with more language versions to come, and is covered by Hardis Group technical support.
